Welcome to Art and Success!

Pamela Caughey received her MFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Montana School of Art in 2010. With her extensive background of painting in multiple mediums over the 30+ years (watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, encaustic, oil/cwm) she is committed to helping artists of all levels overcome their struggles.

As she puts it, “There is no struggle out there I haven’t already had; let’s work together and overcome them!” She has worked with 100s of artists in multiple mediums to help them truly discover their authentic, personal voice and create their BEST art. Her courses and workshops predominantly emphasize the Visual Language of Art: Design and Color Principles. Focusing her teaching on these critical foundations has helped students save time, get unstuck and find critical momentum in their work.

Her passion is sharing her knowledge with others so they may become the artist they wish to be more quickly. Her courses and teaching allow students to learn from her mistakes, benefit from her coaching and move their art forward as she guides students past the roadblocks of fear, procrastination and getting stuck.

Her flagship course, “Powerful Design and Personal Color” is structured like the foundation courses she taught at the college level and this online course has been taken for 3 university credits. Pamela is a full-time studio artist, instructor, mentor and coach who teaches both in the US and abroad.
