Meet the PRO Team:

Rob Smales

I spent the first 20 years of my life in Bournemouth, England, and the second 20 years in Hamburg, Germany, where I live with my partner and two cats. Although I’ve always loved art, taking PDPC was really the big turning point in my artmaking life. I'm very inspired by the power of sharing, and the strength to be gained from being part of a community of artists – where I can learn from everyone’s individual life experience, share my own, form special human bonds, and enjoy mutual support through all the ups and downs along the way. The Internet is a wonderful thing. I’ve found artmaking such a valuable and effective channel for getting to know myself better and enriching my life, and intend to intensify this moving forward, with little learning steps every day.

Merete Hov

I live in the southern part of Norway but am originally from up north in the country, so I have nature, the ocean, fjords and the mountains as a mental backdrop for all that I do and all that I am. I was so lucky to stumble over Pamela’s tutorials online a few years ago and am now finally fulfilling my true purpose in life; as long as I can mix colors or make marks, I will be fine!

CYNTHIA LEE

Abstract painter + poet.  Pisces.  Swims into states of mind + profound moments in nature.

Loves to ride along edges for a different point of view.  Sings in her studio with colors + lines.

A wondering wanderer, finally home in her art.

Lisa DeBaets

I used to be a storm chase driver so I drive really fast and I fly by the seat of my pants. When I started painting and taking watercolor classes it brought out my love of being with people. I found myself going to class and starting an Urban Sketchers group just to be with them even if I didn't paint. I had already fallen in love with color and had began experimenting with abstract at that point. Through my experimentation I fell in love with different media and how they work together and move on canvas and paper. Paper towel and squirt bottles are my best friends. Except people. I still love people.

Belinda Persoglia (Yogi)

I live in Sydney, Australia with my family and assortment of lovely animals. My past was very mainstream; school, studies and work, family. It wasn’t until later that I developed a passion for yoga, meditation, and all things spiritual. From this space of clarity I realised I wanted to take my interests in my art more seriously and over the past two years I have taken a number of courses which have each added their unique flavour to my development. It’s in my nature to be always learning, always looking and paying attention. I love all art however I am drawn to art that is more relatable than alienating, and has an emotional connection. My goal; to create my own cosmos and live in it!

Tim O'Neill

I live in Nebraska and have been an artist my entire adult life. I have not always made a living in the art world by creating art however. There were many years of creating art for arts sake. The path that led me here is eclectic and not a normal one if there is such a thing. Being a lifelong-learner, I found Pams PDPC course when I wanted to learn more about abstraction and oil and wax. I am excited to learn from everyone; young and mature, new and experienced.
