You Will Discover

Unlike the short, abbreviated YouTube videos I create, you will find in depth, full length videos in the WLG Library which document the why, how and when as I paint in my studio in several different mediums and discuss the challenges, ideas and ways I problem solve. I’m a perpetual learner and suspect you are as well! In this library you will have access to over 40 hours of recorded critiques  from my WLG Master Class members. Artists with a solid foundation in color and design (ie, who have taken my Powerful Design and Personal Color course or comparable) will greatly benefit as each critique focuses on a different challenge.

Energize your studio practice by exploring new ways of thinking, creating and continually raising the bar by sharpening your ability to understand powerful design and personal color. Discover new and novel ways to solve roadblocks that inevitably appear in every corner of your studio. Materials, methods, techniques, time management – many of these topics can be found in the SEARCHABLE WLG library!  The WLG library features many videos on technique, the logistics of working in different mediums, how to find your personal voice, how to overcome obstacles and so much more!

It is true, “The more you know, the more you will grow”. In this comprehensive library are my videos on a wide variety of topics. I continue to prepare for my rescheduled 2022 solo exhibition in Moscow, Idaho (*NOTE: Postponed until Fall, 2022 due to the Covid-19 Pandemic), I will be documenting the many details and “behind the scene” challenges as I pull together a body of work to fill 2500 sq. ft. Video categories currently include: Painting tutorials and tips, Critique, Challenges/Exercises in Color and Design, Interviews with PDPC and WLG artists on important topics, Quick Clips (short videos on a wide variety of topics), and Digital media such as Photoshop and Adobe Capture. Over 150 hours of content you can watch 24/7!

I want to tell you that since I subscribed to the library in early July, you have been the person I spend most of my days with - and at night I dream of colors, shapes and values.

Although I have painted dozens of pictures in the last two years, I have not found my personal voice yet, but your tutorials and particularly your critiques definitely help me 1) to find out what I like - and why, and 2) to be aware of the 7 elements of design, when I paint. And so I also look at my old paintings with new eyes, and more analytical understanding why they work or don’t.

That, I am sure, will eventually help me to create more complex, but clearer paintings.

Thank you very much for the immense work and commitment you invest to offer us short cuts to achievement.

Best wishes,

Kristina (Berlin)
